Pure Taboo review.

The most useful sentence in Pure Taboo's terms is about timing. A cancellation has to reach the company 48 hours before a renewal, and you remain liable for charges until 48 hours after your notice has been acknowledged. On the three-day trial, that leaves roughly one day in which backing out is safe, not three. The rule is not peculiar to this studio. Pure Taboo is sold on Adult Time's paperwork: its terms match Adult Time's word for word apart from the site name, and its join page sells the same three plans at the same prices. So the real choices here are which plan to buy and how to pay for it.

The trial's real deadline is the end of day one.

The join page sells the trial as three days of streaming for $2.95, after which it bills $29.95 every month — figures as listed on puretaboo.com on 27 July 2026. What a trial-taker needs to know is when walking away still costs nothing, and two clauses in the terms settle it.

• Section 8.2: every membership term has to be cancelled 48 hours before it renews if the next term's fee is to be avoided.
• Section 10.1: fees remain payable until 48 hours after Client Relations has received and acknowledged your notice of cancellation.

Seventy-two hours of trial, less a 48-hour notice period, leaves 24. The trial clause (section 8.3) only asks that you cancel before the trial period ends, so the document is not entirely consistent with itself — but the stricter reading protects you whichever way the clauses are applied, so plan around that.

The word acknowledged matters as much as the number. Fame Support, the help desk the terms point you to, promises to answer emails within 24 hours; on a trial, an emailed cancellation could use up the whole margin before anyone confirms it. Use the cancellation form or the live chat instead, and keep the acknowledgement with its time on it.

The rule is not limited to the trial. It applies at every renewal, the yearly one included, so a reminder set for the renewal date itself arrives two days late.

What happens to your card before you watch anything.

Three clauses govern what happens to your payment method, starting at signup.

• A hold bigger than the trial. The company may authorise your card for up to one month of service as soon as you sign up, and the terms warn that your card issuer may cut your available balance or credit limit to match while the trial runs. On a debit card with little headroom, that matters more than the $2.95.
• A declined card can be retried. If your payment fails at signup, the company may run it again on the same terms within seven days of your first attempt. If you abandon a signup after a decline, watch your statement for the following week rather than assuming nothing happened.
• A failed renewal is charged for. When a recurring payment does not go through, an administrative fee of up to $2 may be taken to keep the membership running until the full fee clears. A lapsed card keeps the account open; it does not close it.

The statement line will not say Pure Taboo. Fame Support's billing FAQ says that neither the site name nor anything about its content appears on a card bill — only the name of the discreet biller. The same FAQ suggests a refused card may be a bank blocking an international transaction, and the terms make the buyer liable for taxes, bank fees and currency fluctuations, so if your card adds foreign-transaction fees, expect them here.

The currency is not fixed either. Read from the UK on 5 October 2026, the join page showed every plan in pounds — £2.95, £29.95, £19.95 and £143.40, the same numerals as the dollar prices of 27 July — so confirm the currency on the payment screen before you agree to anything.

The one way in that never renews.

Alongside cards, the terms accept gift cards traded through a service called PayGarden — and they exempt those memberships from auto-renewal altogether. Every other membership renews at the end of its term until cancelled; a gift-card membership is not rebilled. It is the only kind of membership that leaves nothing to cancel.

PayGarden's page for the site explains the trade: you enter a store gift card and are offered a number of days of access based on its balance. That convenience is priced in. PayGarden's FAQ says its prices differ from card prices because of gift-card network fees, and because a single payment means the site collects more up front. The example trades on the Pure Taboo page show the effect:

• A $25 Best Buy card buys 22 days — about $34.09 per 30 days, more than the $29.95 the trial rebills at.
• A $32 Home Depot card buys 36 days — about $26.67 per 30 days.
• A $75 Walmart card buys 121 days — about $18.60 per 30 days, slightly under the $19.95 monthly plan.

The conditions are tight. PayGarden currently accepts cards from US gift-card networks only, one card per purchase, usually with at least $10 left on it, and it does not take prepaid Visa or Mastercard cards. Nothing comes back afterwards: Pure Taboo's terms exclude full and partial refunds on these memberships and allow the site to offer only a similar membership to a related website instead, while PayGarden says a redeemed card's value cannot be restored.

For someone whose real worry is a renewal they will not notice, a large gift card is the cleanest arrangement on offer. For a quick look, the $2.95 trial cancelled on day one costs far less.

Refunds, disputes and the chargeback question.

Refunds barely exist. Once your login details have been used, fees are non-refundable; there is no credit for part of a period; and not using the membership is expressly not a reason for one. Where the company does choose to refund, it credits the card or other method you paid with.

The date to remember is the dispute deadline. A charge you believe is wrong has to be raised in writing within 30 days of receiving the statement it first appears on, through digigammasupport.com. Let that pass and, by the terms, you have waived the dispute.

A chargeback through your bank is the route the terms resist hardest. They treat it as a breach of contract, say every chargeback is investigated and may be contested, and let the company stop you buying from the site and its affiliates afterwards. Given that the same terms sit behind Adult Time, a chargeback over one site could close more doors than one. Put the dispute in writing first, inside the 30 days, and keep a chargeback for when that has failed.

Who you are contracting with.

The agreement is with DigiGamma B.V. / Gamma Billing Inc. The terms name DigiGamma B.V., of Haarlem in the Netherlands, as the operator, and give Gamma Billing Inc. at a Beverly Hills address in their notice for California residents. Fame Support, the help desk, is supplied by Digigamma BV and Gamma Entertainment. The document is dated 24 March 2026 and is the one Adult Time publishes under its own name: compared line by line on 5 October 2026, the site name was the only difference.

That structure decides where any argument would be heard:

• Netherlands law applies, and the Dutch courts handle anything that is not arbitrated.
• Everything else goes to binding arbitration on an individual basis, run by Arbitration Resolution Services; you give up class and representative claims.
• You can choose small-claims court instead, but only by giving written notice within 60 days of the claim arising.
• Any claim has to be brought within a year of its cause, or it is barred.

None of this matters while the billing behaves. It matters when it does not, because the 60-day and one-year clocks start whether or not you have read the clause that sets them.

Downloads, single scenes and the verdict.

The trial is streaming only, with no downloads. Where a paid plan includes them, the terms cap downloads at 300 GB a day — so read the download line on the plan card before you choose, because the trial gives you no view of that side of the product.

Downloads are not ownership, either: the terms say that on termination every licence they grant comes to an end. The exception is a single scene bought outright, where the site offers it. The terms make each one a one-off charge with no rebill and lifetime access, whatever type of membership you hold.

Our verdict: the join page links these terms from its signup checkbox, and they reward anyone who reads them before paying. If you already know you will keep the membership, skip the trial and buy the $19.95 month or the $143.40 year. If you only want a look, the trial works on one condition — cancel within the first day, through a channel that gives you a timed acknowledgement. If a forgotten renewal is the real fear, a large US gift card through PayGarden removes it, at a premium on small balances. And if you cannot commit to deciding within 24 hours, do not start the trial at all.

Pure Taboo's terms send cancellations to Fame Support, whose cancellation page gives separate instructions for charges that read Epoch or SegPay — both are in the table below.

Read the descriptor on your statement first, then use the matching route below. These are the processors' own published consumer-cancellation channels, and they can stop a rebill without the platform's involvement.

Whichever route you use, screenshot the confirmation and keep the confirmation email. If a charge lands afterwards, that screenshot is the evidence that makes a card dispute succeed. Processor arrangements change — your statement descriptor is always the authority, not a list.

Who it's for — and who should skip it.

Worth it if

• You will decide within a day of starting the trial — or you will skip the trial and buy the month or the year outright.
• You want a fixed block of access with nothing to renew, and can pay with a US store gift card of a decent size.
• You keep records: a timed acknowledgement of every cancellation, and the statement dates a 30-day dispute window depends on.

Skip it if

• You would start the three-day trial and leave the decision until day three.
• You treat a chargeback as your safety net. The terms call it a breach and allow future purchases to be blocked.
• You want downloads that outlast the membership. On termination, the licence behind them ends.
